Jakarta Forum - Palembang, S Sumatra, Feb 1. South Sumatra governor Alex Nurdin presented houses as bonuses to five athletes of several bouts namely Peter Taslim, Iwan Susanto, Yasif S Yudha, Kuncung Sudiono, and Sardono.
The houses were presented to the provincial successful athletes in 2009 period at the 43rd anniversary function of the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) here Sunday night.
Taslim is from judo, Iwan Susanto soccer, Yasif S Yudha athletic, Kuncung Sudiono shooting and Sarjono, coach of National Disabled Sports Week.
In addition, the athletes also received financial allowance from the governor, however Alex Nurdin did not mention the amount of the allowance.
The South Sumatra governor said, bonuses to the athletes were aimed to motivate other athletes in this province.
