Jakarta Forum - Jakarta, Indonesia`s biggest private airline company Lion Air will increase its Jakarta-Jidda flights from twice to five times a week starting on February 10, 2010.

Lion Air president director Edward Sirait disclosed in Jakarta Sunday that the flights will be using Boeing 747-400s registration numbers PK-LHF and PK-LHG, capacity 506 passengers, including 22 for business class, and 484 for economy class.

"The flight will be non-stop in 9 hours and 30 minutes," he said.

The flights will be on every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday leaving Soekarno-Hatta aiport at 12.00 local time and scheduled arrival at King Abdul Aziz, Jidda, at 17.40 local time, while the flight from Jidda will be from 19.40 local time and arrival at Soekarno-Hatta at 09.10 local time the following day.

"On this international flight, Lion Air provides full international in-flight service, including full meal for the passengers," he said.
