RI finance minister replaces customs, excise director general

Jakarta Forum - Finance Minister Agus Martowardojo has replaced Director General of Customs and Excise Thomas Sugijata who will retire in the next two months.

"The replacement is carried out as a refreshment of the organization and improvement of coordination," the minister said after a coordination meeting here on Monday.

He said that the replacement of the director general was also intended to prepare institutional transformation in the customs and excise directorate general.

Rumors have it that the new director general who will replace Thomas Sugijata is Agung Kuswandono, who is now director for customs facilities affairs.

It was expected that the installation ceremony would be carried out on Monday evening.
