Car bomb explodes outside headquarters of security services in Kazakhstan; casualties reported - AFP
AFP, A suicide bomber has blown himself up outside the headquarters of the security services in Kazakhstan, causing casualties.
A car in Almaty with one or two people inside exploded outside the entrance to the headquarters at around 3:30am (1130 AEST) on Tuesday and body parts of the passengers were blown out by the force of the blast, witnesses told Interfax news agency.
Police and security service investigators at the scene declined to comment.
